Get your instruments ready for a concert so out of this world you’ll be on Pluto.
The mid year concert is fast approaching and we’ve got everything you need to know right here!

Times: Midday Concert 12pm – 2pm

Getting to the venue
The venue is on the Oakwood st. side of Yeronga State High School. Follow the path (pictured) and you will walk right into the auditorium!

Information for Performers

**Performers do not need to buy a ticket**

When to arrive
Make sure you arrive at least 15 – 30 minutes before the start of your concert to ensure you have time to warm up, tune etc. before going on stage.
If you are unsure of which concert you are in please email the office at info@downtowncreativestudios.comWhat to bringMake sure you bring a water bottle and whatever you need for your performance. E.g. your instrument, tuner, capo, picks, sheet music etc.What to wear
Make sure you wear stage appropriate clothing (E.g. no mini skirts). You can dress to the theme (Out of this world) and wear your most intergalactic outfit or you can simply just dress as if you are going out for dinner.

Please note, photos will be taken of performers during the event. Please let us know if you do not wish to have your/your child’s photo taken.

Information for Parents, Friends and Guests

Tickets
Tickets are available online and at the door for $10 (plus booking fee if purchasing online). Please be aware that seating is limited so we highly recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance.Family discounts are automatically applied when purchasing more than 4 tickets online.

Performance Etiquette
We ask all of our audience members to please be respectful of each and every performer. It’s a very difficult thing to get up on stage and perform and we want all of our performers to feel great about their experience.Here are a few things we ask of you

Please only take photos/video’s of your own child
Please stay until the end of the concert (It is only fair that the last performer have as large an audience as the first performer)
Please keep mobile phones on silent and noise to a minimum
If you need to step outside please wait until the end of the current song before returning to your seat
Please arrive at the concert 10 minutes prior to the starting time to take your seat (first in best dressed)

Bake Sale

Don’t forget to get involved in our “Space themed” bake sale. Maybe you’re Martha Stewart or maybe the kitchen is completely “alien” to you. However you roll, we appreciate any baked goods you can donate.

All proceeds raised from this bake sale will go towards new musical equipment for the studio.

Don’t miss the stall at the entry to the mid year concert!

Sausage Sizzle

We will be holding our traditional sausage sizzle between 2pm and 3pm. Make sure you hang around if you’re in the midday concert and come a little early if you are in the afternoon concert.

All we ask is a gold coin donation!

Volunteers

We would love to have some volunteers to help us out on the day so if please let us know if you would like to nominate yourself or someone you know!
